MOTHER’S AND FATHER’S DAY CELEBRATION ACCORDING TO ISLAMIC PERSPECTIVE.

MOTHER’S AND FATHER’S DAY CELEBRATION  ACCORDING TO ISLAMIC PERSPECTIVE.

Customary for Muslims in Malaysia to jointly celebrate Mother's Day (in May) and the father’s Day (in June) each year. In this day children will give a gift and holding a 'party' to celebrate their mother and father. This all transactions are carried out as a sign of affection a child to the mother and father who have raged time, money and so on to raise their children from birth until adulthood and married.

The present time, there are various opinions about this kind of response perspective of Islamic law. Is it required or otherwise prevented illegally and celebrate.

What is the ruling? It was the first question that came across people has their own understanding of the celebration of our favorite pet-in. Yes, All People do not know, so I tried to ask, read and find the correct answer. In fact every day we should celebrate our parents. Imagine a mother longing too, can reach the level of guilty if the child does not want to accidentally contacting and serving them. Imagine the capital position of the Islamic viewpoint.

"Our Lord! Peace and mercy on them both as they have devoted affection we preserve and educate the children. "
In Malaysia, a Mother's Day is celebrated on the second Sunday in May, while the father's day is celebrated on the third Sunday of June. Legal issues, this ruling has arisen on the basis of prehistory, where, which arises, where start. Presumably, when people ask,

To find this answer to be careful of some things like: "How did the celebration of Mother's Day?" "How did Mothers' Day Begin?"

So as the first history, for many years, genealogies held by the non-Muslim celebration of a warning, so be it patented as such by most of us when entering the legal chapter when we celebrate.
The story is the history of the celebration of Mother's Day:
There are various versions.
- Greece, as a tribute to Rhea, the mother of their god.
-In The United States, Mother's Day is celebrated as early as 1872 the brainchild of Julia Ward Howe. He is a social activist and wrote the poem "The Battle Hymn of the Republic" (TBHoTR). TBHoTR patriotic songs that have become popular among Americans.
-1907 Anna Jarvis of Philadelphia has started a campaign to launch Mother's Day. He has managed to convince Mother's Church in Grafton, West Virginia to celebrate and celebrate Mother's Day on the second anniversary of her mother's death, on the second Sunday in May /

Dr. Yusuf al-Qaradawi said, "Mother's Day This arises because the orientalist / west doctrine think that this is the best way for them to attract young people to the West respect their parents. Generally we know that western society is very thin with the manners of conduct, so by having / are certain days and can nurture their young to love and respect their parents. "

"How did the celebration of Father's Day?" "How did Father's Day Begin?"
The story is the history of the celebration of Father's Day:

Historically, Father's Day detected since 1839 to commemorate the death of 123 men in the battle Iransop. Father's Day in modern times began to be held on July 5, 1908 in Fairmont, West Virginia, USA as a religious event in Christianity, the celebration as per say.
Father's Day is moved as a worldwide celebration when Sonora Smart Dodd held anniversary celebrations in 1910 to commemorate his father, William Jackson Smart, a veteran of the American Civil War who alone raised six children. When selected as the first Father's Day is officially held on June 19, 1910.
So what is the ruling celebrate Mother's Day? And  also celebrate Father's Day?
Scholars disagree (err) in this matter and generally they are divided into two groups, namely:
(1.) The group that ban. Among them is Al-late Sheikh Abdul Aziz bin Baz who clearly had issued a fatwa about this celebration. Its essence is as it was among the innovations in religion and according to the West (gharbiyyun).
(2.) The group requires. They also agree that this response is an invented things, but it is not heresy in worship but is heresy in customs.
The answer is quite simple, we hold the three key words :
- How: what do we do about the celebration and the commemoration, how to celebrate?
- Intent: The main factor and sub-factor we enjoy giving and celebrating, why?
- Who: From whom to whom we do it?
Whatever depends on faith (trust) and goals ORIGINAL something we celebrate it. Do not be swayed and do not just follow. And religion was not inconvenient, do not be too obsessed to deny everything, do not turn against what is right.

  وَقَضَىٰ رَبُّكَ أَلَّا تَعْبُدُوٓا۟ إِلَّآ إِيَّاهُ وَبِٱلْوَٰلِدَيْنِ إِحْسَـٰنًا ۚ
"And your Lord has decreed that no worship except Him, and be kind to parents." (Surah al-Isra ', verse 23)
To be more clear, let us consider the Kelantan mufti's opinion on this matter. He said "Celebrate Mother's Day 'must' for Muslims" - Kelantan Mufti
Celebrate Mother's Day on the second Sunday of May each year for Muslims is a must, said Kelantan Mufti Datuk Mohamad Shukri Mohamad.
He said that is not an offense for children to celebrate Mothers Day to honor those special people who sacrificed body and soul in educating and raising children.
"Say Happy Mother's Day and celebrating the mother who born  us and the hassles of raising us, bathed us and cleanse us unclean while small, was it a mistake ?.

"The thing that is forbidden in Islam is treason to the mother.
"If we do something that 'should' and can give happiness to others, including his own mother it is charity and calculated reward," he said when contacted by Bernama today.

He was responding to allegations of illegal for Muslims celebrating that day as a celebration imitate Christians who celebrate 'Mother of the Church'
Dato’ Mohamad Shukri said that Islam never forbids Muslims to emulate the good of others, including the West, but any act that resembles other religious ceremonies as well as contrary to Islamic law is prohibited.

Similarly, Mother's Day, he said Muslims should ensure that the response is based on Islamic laws, he said.

"How do I even need to celebrate Mother's Day in a way that allowed Islamic law do not violate the boundaries of Islam including male and female promiscuity, this can not be," he said.

Dato’ Mohamad Shukri said although no instruction to celebrate Mother's Day in the Koran, but there are passages that emphasize the need for Muslims to be kind to his parents.

He said Islam puts women in top notch but the Prophet once asked a man as saying means: "O Messenger of Allah! Who is more entitled me to do good ?, Prophet replied: Your mother." The man then asked: Then who? He said: Your mother.

"The man asked again: Then who? He replied: Your mother.
"The man asked again: Who else? He replied: Father" . Conclude  that not to be mistaken for Muslims to celebrate Mother's Day and Father's Day. Just be careful do not have talented response-element immoral and unjust including the great sin ,

If it is a celebration of love and affection of children to their parents, it's as a way of giving thanks to the parents of children who have been sacrificed in many cases weeks to raising children up to be a man of faith and taqwa..

Such acts are encouraged by Islam but it is considered an act of pure and should be done by all of the children to their parents.

Wallahu'alam
