INTERESTED IN READING THE QURAN as a reason to covert to  Islam




Interested in reading Al-Fatihah cause  him to convert to  Islam.

JITRA - Although raised in a family of strong religious beliefs of his ancestors, however, his soul still feels empty and to be filled in order to meet the space in his instincts.
After seeing the confidence that their ancestors could not be followed, began searching his soul until he moved with his father from Kuala Lumpur to Kemaman, Terengganu mingle with new friends, most of whom are Malays.
This is where life Azman Khor Abdullah, 57, began to change when living in a Malay village.  which changed the life.
"At the time I was 10 years old and lives are influenced by the customs of the Malays.
"At this village I met a good friend, Noor Ahmad Faiz Din until his family was like my own family," he said.

Ask a good friend wrote Al-Fatihah
According to him, life and family trust Noor Faiz was also attracted interest in studying the science of religion.
"Until one day when I went to my friend's house, her mother was reciting the Quran in Surah Al-Fatihah to cause my heart to be interested in reading it and asking Noor Faiz wrote that verses of  Fatihah in  the booklet.
"Ever since I started studying and reading the Al-Fatihah be hidden from parents and often took him to go. Although I did not understand the meaning of the verse but my soul is very calm. I am  continue  to learn about Islam, "he said.
Khor said Azman, surah Al-Fatihah was very pleasant to hear and if they have internalized their own strength to hard to interpret the verses of the sweetness in the relevant chapters.

Take the decision to convert to  Islam
However, his efforts to memorize verse that can be detected by his father when the book was missing from his stash and he was deported back to Kuala Lumpur to finish his studies.
"Although it has been returned to Kuala Lumpur and began working as an accounts clerk at a private company but a passion for learning about Islam never be erased in my life until in 1980 I decided to recite the Shahadah in a mosque and converted to Islam.
"After converting to Islam, the passion to learn Islam is boiled until I moved to Derang Pokok Sena, a center of religious studies and stayed there and married a wife of mine, Nor Sakinah Vanitha Abdullah," he said, now open a shop of Chinese Muslim  at Bandar Baru  Darul Aman. Kedah
He said the migration to a new life in his  life and was grateful that in addition to studying religion, he also can build their own family and be able to educate their families in accordance with Islamic teach and faith.

The family has already received migration
Asked about his reception, he said, they already know about his interest in Islam since childhood, and now they respect his decision to convert to Islam.
"My father had long Khor Yew Jin knew about my interest in Islam. Despite the many obstacles, finally he allowed as long as I was a good person toward religion and society.
"Even now my father is gone, but as the eldest of five siblings, but they still respect each time the feast they had also sent money to children to buy clothes," he told The Star.
Khor Azman said he is very happy with his life, but also to give thanks to GOD for awarding a total of 10 children to enliven his life as Muslim.

COMMENT:
The above story teaches us that the way of life of Muslims in the village full of nature cooperation, friendly and helpful and please to help regardless nations and religions is   an attraction to those who have not embraced Islam to mingle and learn how to live Malay kampung with  strong hold to the teachings of Islam.
The practice of reciting the Quran in the villages can be an attraction for those who do not study Islam and Muslims to turn to Islam.
Therefore, as Muslims, let us together to improve understanding and practice of Islam in daily life in every aspect of life. Architecture and cultural life of Islam is full of polite, friendly and helpful people in need is an important asset for the propagation of Islam who do not take weeks to reach out to Islam and subsequently converted to Islam. If we able  to  practice the Islamic culture in our daily life, It  will give more impact to non muslim to get further information regarding  Islam. God willing, will be guided by Him. If this can be practiced in life it's very big reward as a jihad to expand Islam in the last days. God willing.
