The Muslim
Brotherhood,
There were a
handful of Muslims in understanding the meaning and demands of jihad. Some
understand the meaning of jihad with war by weapons and some who understand the
meaning of jihad by putting certain groups as a target to be combated.
Understanding the meaning of jihad with
the intention of fighting the enemy in the Wars of the field is not in
accordance with the requirements of the real jhad, because jihad is so wide. If
we look at the meaning of the language, it indicates that jihad means to strive
with all our resources and efforts to get something.
Allah says:
"And they swear by God, saying that earnestly" (Surah: Al Anan: 109).
Based on the
definition given by scholars, it can be concluded that the jihad in Islam
covers all aspects of human activity in order to support and uphold the
religion of Allah, seeking knowledge, strengthening the economy, eliminating
poverty, strengthening relationship of the people, fight lust and the devil,
and make sure people gain happiness in this world and the hereafter.

In carrying
out the demands of the current jihad this, sermons would like to emphasize a
few things that need to be implemented by Muslims based on current needs:
First: Jihad to acquire knowledge, all
efforts to establish Muslims who dominate role in science because science will
one jidah to produce a Muslims developed
nation. Competitive and capable in all fields.
Rasulullah SAW said they are studying is money fisabil lillah (cause of
God) saying that says: "Anyone who is out studying science he struggled fi
sabil lillah until he returns" (HR :: Tirmizi ).
Second: Jihad to dominate the economy and
finance. Development economics and finance is crucial for determining the
strength of a country and nation. State control of the economy will be free
from foreign power. Believe that measures to control the economy with the aim
of maintain both security, progress and
prosperity of the country belongs to the real meaning of the word jihad.
Third: Jihad to strengthen unity and
solidarity. Although we are a people with a variety of issues Islam squeezed.
Ideology and thinking, but we are confident that Muslims can build unity and
solidarity for the sake of religion, race and country. We differ in customs,
culture, and way of life and political understanding. However, we are required to build unity and co operation Allah says: "and hold strongly you all the rope which Allah (Islam) and
wittingly not separate. And remember the favor of Allah unto you, when ye hostile enemies. (During jahiliah
ages) and Allah unite the hearts of you (so that you are united by wedlock). So that you become God's grace
Muslim brothers. And you used to have to be at the side ends of the Fire
(because you disbelieved when ignorance) and saved you from it. (due to the
favor of Islam as well) thus identifies God's revelations to you testified that
you may be guided "(Al Imran: 103).
To conclude
my sermon this week call on the Muslims, let us together take the following
steps:
First: Understand the current jihad demands
by setting priorities jurisprudence (Fiqh Aulawiyah) in consideration of life
which need to be prioritized and which should later
Second:
As Muslims who believe we are required to strengthen the science and
economics to produce advanced people in all fields.
Third: Strengthening unity among us to
produce people who respected and honored.
Fourth : Always adhere to the principle of
moderation in all things by rejecting the extremist movement that could threaten
the welfare and security of the nation.
