Sirah Prophet Muhammad PBUH

Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) was born an orphan in Makkah on 12 Rabi' al-Awwal in the Year of the Elephant. Halimah al-Sa'diyah nursed him, bringing great blessings. After his mother Aminah died when he was six, his grandfather Abdul Muttalib and uncle Abu Talib cared for him while he herded sheep and showed noble character. Age 10: Occurred as he neared puberty (mukallaf) to prepare him against unbefitting behavior. Age 40: Occurred when he was chosen as a messenger and visited by Gabriel to receive the first revelation with a strong heart.
