DAILY LIFE OF A TAQWA PERSON

The daily life of a person with taqwa (God-consciousness and mindfulness of Allah) is guided by a constant awareness that Allah is always watching, hearing, and knowing their intentions. Morning and Worship: Early awakening: Often begins before dawn for voluntary Tahajjud prayers or preparing for the mandatory Fajr prayer: Remembrance (Dhikr): Reciting morning supplications (du'as) and reading portions of the Qur'an to anchor the heart before the busy day starts. Mindful routines: Performing small acts with focus, such as being deliberate during wudu (ablution). Work and Daily Interactions : Honesty and integrity: Conducting business, trade, and employment ethically, ensuring earnings are strictly halal (permissible). Kind speech: Maintaining politeness, avoiding gossip or foul language, and controlling anger even when provoked. Fair treatment: Interacting with family, coworkers, and strangers with humility, respect, koand generosity. Private Moments and Restraint: Self-discipline in solitude: Abstaining from prohibited or harmful actions even when entirely alone, knowing that God is aware. Guarding the senses: Lowering the gaze from indecency and holding the tongue from hurtful speech. Patience in hardship: Treating daily difficulties and stress as tests from Allah, responding with patience (sabr) and trust (tawakkul) rather than despair. Evening and Reflection: Fulfilling duties: Performing the five daily prayers on time with full attention and peace. Self-assessment (Muhasabah): Reflecting on the day's choices, seeking forgiveness (tawbah) for shortcomings, and preparing the heart for the night and the Hereafter.
