THE SWEETNESS OF FAITH

The Sweetness of Faith : The sweetness of faith is the feeling of joy and peace in the heart when a person obeys Allah and His Messenger. Based on an authentic hadith narrated by al-Bukhari from Anas bin Malik r.a., a person feels the sweetness of faith through these three traits: Love for Allah and His Messenger: Loving Allah SWT and Prophet Muhammad SAW more than anything else in the world. Loving for Allah's sake: Loving another person only for Allah SWT, not for money or status. Hatred of disbelief: Hating to return to disbelief (becoming a disbeliever or apostate) just like hating to be thrown into the hellfire Daily Practices of a Muslim: The main daily habits include guarding obligatory prayers, performing sunnah prayers, doing zikir (remembrance), reading the Quran, and showing good character. You can follow this simple daily schedule from dawn to night: Dawn to Morning Tahajud and Witir: Wake up in the last third of the night. Pray at least two rakaat of Tahajud and one rakaat of Witir. Subuh Prayer: Pray Subuh on time, ideally in the mosque in a congregation. Morning Zikir: Read Zikir Ma'thurat or tasbih (Subhanallah, Alhamdulillah, Allahu Akbar) after Subuh. Reading the Quran: Read a few verses or one page of the Quran before or after sunrise. Zuhr to Asr Rawatib Sunnah Prayers: Pray the sunnah prayers before and after Zuhr and Asr. Keep Wudhu: Try to stay in a state of ablution all day. More Istighfar: Ask Allah for forgiveness often, even during busy work hours. Maghrib to Isha : Evening Zikir: Practice protection zikir and tasbih near sunset. Maghrib and Isha Prayers: Pray in a congregation if you have time. Surah Al-Mulk: Read Surah Al-Mulk before sleep to protect yourself at night. References; You can read more details at Salam Muslim and Dr Azura Hashim.
