BATTLES IN ISLAM

Types of Battles Military expeditions during the time of Prophet Muhammad SAW are divided into two main types: Ghazwah: Campaigns attended and led personally by the Prophet (about 27 or 28 battles). Sariyyah: Military expeditions delegated to the companions without the presence of the Prophet (about 60 to 70 small expeditions). Major Battles: Battle of Badr (2 AH): The first major battle where 313 Muslims defeated a much larger Quraysh army from Mecca. Battle of Uhud (3 AH): A testing battle at Mount Uhud caused by a broken archer strategy. It led to the martyrdom of many companions, including Hamza bin Abdul Muttalib. Battle of the Trench / Ahzab (5 AH): A strategy of digging a trench around Medina to stop combined enemy forces and Jewish tribes. Battle of Tabuk (9 AH): The last military campaign reaching the Eastern Roman border. No bloodshed happened because the enemy retreated. Main Purposes : Self-Defense: Protect Medina and Muslims from outside threats. Uphold Justice: Not for forced religion or cruel conquest. Credits: #AI #google #Dr.Zulkifli
