FRIDAY - THE BEST DAY OF THE WEEK

Friday (Jum'at) is considered the best day of the week, acting as a weekly gathering and a spiritual reset for Muslims. Major Virtues and Benefits: The Master of Days: Prophet Muhammad SAW called Friday (Sayyidul Ayyam) the most important and honorable day of the week. Forgiveness of Sins: Attending Friday prayers and performing good deeds helps erase minor sins between one Friday and the next. The Hour of Acceptance: Friday contains a special, hidden hour when Allah grants whatever a believer sincerely prays for, often identified as the final hour before sunset or during the Jum'at sermon. A Weekly Eid: It serves as a festive, sacred day of congregational gathering, physical purification, and communal reflection. Historical Significance: It is the day Prophet Adam was created, entered Paradise, and also the day the Day of Judgment will take place. Recommended Practices: (Sunnah)Jum'ah Prayer: Attending the mandatory congregational Friday noon prayer and listening to the sermon (khutbah). Reciting Surah Al -Kahf : Reading Chapter 18 of the Quran brings a guiding light (nur) for the believer until the following Friday. Sending Blessings (Salawat): Frequently sending salutations upon Prophet Muhammad SAW. Personal Grooming: Bathing (ghusl), clipping nails, wearing clean or new clothes, and applying perfume before heading to the mosque. Arriving Early: Going to the mosque early to secure a closer spot and engage in extra prayers. Credits: #fb #youtube #AIoverview #fyppp
