THE FAST OF DAUD ( PROPHET DAVID)

The fast of Daud (Prophet David) is a recommended voluntary practice in Islam where a person fasts on one day and eats normally the next in an alternating schedule. How It Works : Alternate Days: You fast one day and skip the fast the next day. For example, you fast on Monday, eat normally on Tuesday, and fast again on Wednesday. Daily Timing: You abstain from all food, drink, and other things that break a fast from dawn (Fajr) until sunset (Maghrib). Intention: You make your inner intention (Niyyah) at night or before mid-morning, provided you have not consumed anything yet. Virtues and Status : Beloved to Allah: Prophet Muhammad stated that the fast of Daud is the most beloved voluntary fast to Allah, as recorded in Sahih al-Bukhari. Spiritual Balance: It offers a steady rhythm of gratitude through eating and patience through fasting. Important Rules: Avoid Harm: You should not let the fasting cause severe physical weakness or lead you to neglect your daily work, family rights, or obligatory duties. You can read more about its rulings on IslamQ. Credits: #AIoverview #googles #fb #fyppppp
