PROPHET ADAM

Prophet Adam is revered in Islamic theology as the first human being and the first prophet of God. Creation and Status : Made from clay: God molded Adam from different types of soil and clay collected from the Earth. Breathed life: God blew His spirit into Adam and taught him the names of all things, blessing him with supreme knowledge. Prostration of angels: God commanded the angels to bow before Adam to honor him. All obeyed except Iblis (Satan), who refused out of pride. Creation of Eve: God created Hawwa (Eve) as a companion for Adam. Paradise and the Descent to Earth : The forbidden tree: Adam and Eve lived peacefully in Paradise but were told not to eat from a specific tree. Deception and forgiveness: Prompted by Iblis, they ate from the tree. Realizing their mistake, they sought forgiveness, and God forgave them. Life on Earth: God sent Adam and Eve to Earth to serve as His vicegerents (representatives) and populate the planet Creation and the Angels : God created Adam from a mixture of clay and soil taken from all over the Earth. This soil explains the different skin colors of people today. God breathed life into Adam and taught him the names of all things, giving him great wisdom. God told the angels to bow down to Adam as a sign of respect. All the angels bowed down, but Iblis (Satan) refused. Iblis felt he was better than Adam because fire made Iblis and clay made Adam. God expelled Iblis for his pride, and Iblis vowed to trick human beings. Life in Paradise: God created Hawa (Eve) to keep Adam company.Adam and Eve lived in Paradise (Jannah) with peace and freedom. God told them they could enjoy everything except for one specific tree. Satan tricked Adam and Eve by whispering to them and telling them the tree would give them eternal life. They ate from the forbidden tree, which made them realize they were naked, so they covered themselves with leaves. Descent to Earth : Adam and Eve felt deep regret and asked God for forgiveness.God forgave them, but sent them down to live on Earth. On Earth, Adam learned how to farm, build, and survive.Adam served as the first prophet, teaching his children to worship only God and to stay away from Satan.
